About me
Hi, I’m Daisy, and I translate health into human language.
Though I no longer practice medicine, my love for health, healing, and the human story has never left me. I started The Health Translator because I believe science shouldn’t feel like a secret code. Even with my training, I’ve often found health information overwhelming and unnecessarily complex, so I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for others. Health is personal, and everyone deserves to understand how their body works in a way that feels clear, empowering, and maybe even a little comforting.
My curiosity about health science is completely niche-less, which explains the wild variety you'll find here. Whether I'm explaining how malaria actually kills people, sharing my personal weight loss struggles, or breaking down a new dementia study, it all comes from my insatiable interest in how health and science intersect with our lives.
My mission is simple: to make health science accessible, practical, and personal.
Welcome to The Health Translator Blog.
